Senior Congress Leader Passes Away
Kochi: Senior leader of the Congress party, Sooranad Rajasekharan, passed away on Friday at a private hospital, according to party officials.
He was 75 years old.
Rajasekharan had been a member of the political affairs committee of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) and had been fighting cancer for a considerable period, as reported by sources.
His funeral service is scheduled for the evening at his residence in Chathannoor, located in the Kollam district.
